Used Motorhome Living Accomodation
There are literally thousands of motorhome layouts, with constant developments and improvements. But in the end there is always some kind of compromise between what is desirable, and the actual space available. It is no easy task to squeeze a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, lounge and bedrooms into a motorhome, so be prepared for some compromises.
Kitchens are often cramped, so check that there is enough space to prepare a meal, but do not expect acres of spare space.
Not all motorhomes come equipped with a separate shower or a toilet. Indeed there are many motoecaravanners who prefer to always use the outside facilities of the campsites etc. But if indoor facilities are important to you, you may have to go for a larger van.
Sleeping arrangements are very important, for you will be spending more time in the bedroom than anywhere else in your motorhome, so examine the space and the actual beds very carefully, and do make sure to check that the bedroom has adequate heating for those dark, cold nights.
